     Dr. Percy Frere Grant was born on 6 June 1869.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 10th Bt. and Susan Ferrier.2 He married Theodora Gertrude Goodrich, daughter of J. H. Goodrich, in February 1905.1 He died on 9 May 1909 at age 39.1
     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Master of Surgery (C.M.)1 He fought in the Bechuanaland Campaign in 1897.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1

     Theodora Gertrude Goodrich was the daughter of J. H. Goodrich.2 She married Dr. Percy Frere Grant, son of Sir Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 10th Bt. and Susan Ferrier, in February 1905.1 She died on 27 September 1938.1
     From February 1905, her married name became Grant.

     Sir Alfred Hamilton Grant of Dalvey, 12th Bt. was born on 12 June 1872.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 10th Bt. and Susan Ferrier.2 He married, firstly, Mabel Bessie Lovett, daughter of Colonel Thomas Heaton Lovett and Cecil Elizabeth Jones, on 28 November 1896.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Lucia Cochran, daughter of Lieutenant Alexander Cochran, on 12 March 1914.1 He died on 23 January 1937 at age 64.1
     Sir Alfred Hamilton Grant of Dalvey, 12th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Hamilton.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1895 and 1922.1 He was with the Kabul Mission between 1905 and 1915.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1908.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1915.1 He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun of Japan 2nd Class.1
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1918.1 In 1919 he negotiated the Peace Treaty with Afghanistan.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign between 1919 and 1920, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1922.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] on 11 February 1936.1
