     Surgn.-Gen. Vero Clarke Kemball married Marianne Shaw, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Shaw of Tordarroch, 11th Chief of Clan Ay and Anna Nesbitt, on 8 September 1817.1 He died on 20 October 1853.
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was President of Honourable East India Company Medical Board, Bombay.1 He also had four other sons and two daughters.1
