     General Sir Arnold Burrowes Kemball was born on 18 November 1820 at Bombay, India.2 He was the son of Surgn.-Gen. Vero Clarke Kemball and Marianne Shaw.3 He married Anna Frances Shaw, daughter of Alexander Nesbitt Shaw and Georgiana Hodson, on 29 December 1868.1 He died on 21 September 1908 at age 87 at 62 Lowndes Square, Knightsbridge, London, England.2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)1

     Admiral Sir Charles Malcolm was the son of George Malcolm and Margaret Pasley.2 He married, secondly, Elmira Riddell Shaw, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Shaw of Tordarroch, 11th Chief of Clan Ay and Anna Nesbitt.1 He married, firstly, Magdalen Pasley, daughter of Charles Pasley and Jane Carlyle, on 14 June 1808 at All Saints, Edmonton, London, England.2 He died in 1851.1
     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the White.1
