Louisa Slade was born in 1837 at Barnes, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Henry Slade and Eleanor Frances McVeagh.3 She married Alan Cameron Bruce-Pryce, son of John Wyndham Bruce, on 15 July 1858.1 She died on 11 June 1868.1

Major Charles George Slade was born on 30 September 1799.2 He was the son of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Anna Eliza Dawson.3 He was baptised on 15 November 1799 at Melcombe Regis, Dorset, England.2 He died on 10 February 1839 at age 39, without issue, at sea on the way home from India.1
He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 3rd Light Dragoons.1

Marcus John Slade and Charlotte Ramsay.2 He married, firstly, Lucia Aurora di Ramos, daughter of Don Vicente di Ramos, on 9 September 1871.1 He married, secondly, Janet Little Wood, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Robert Blucher Wood, on 7 November 1882.1 He died on 4 September 1913 at age 70.1
