     Sir Edward Leighton, 2nd Bt. was born in 1681.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Leighton, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Charlton.1,2 He married Rachel Forester, daughter of Sir William Forester.1 He died on 6 March 1756.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Leighton. In 1713 daughter of John Elwick, of Mile End, Dir HEIC.1 He was married 2nd Judith (d without issue ), widow of Captain Thwaite in 1764.1

     Annie Harvey Grove was born on 17 September 1881.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Alexander Sinclair Grove and Catherine Gage.3,4 She married Charles Brent Neville Pelly, son of Reverend Charles Henry Pelly and Katherine Harvey, on 17 January 1901.2 She died on 13 January 1963 at age 81.1
      From 17 January 1901, her married name became Pelly.2

     He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset in 1952.1
