     Charles Brent Neville Pelly was born on 25 February 1870.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Henry Pelly and Katherine Harvey.² He married Annie Harvey Grove, daughter of Colonel Alexander Sinclair Grove and Catherine Gage, on 17 January 1901.³ He died on 6 May 1933 at age 63.¹

     Betty Joan Pelly was born on 14 September 1905.² She is the daughter of Charles Brent Neville Pelly and Annie Harvey Grove.^3,4 She married, firstly, George Wallis Newport Clark, son of Alexander Wallis Clark and Frances Lucinda Caroline Carpendale, on 25 June 1924.¹ She and George Wallis Newport Clark were divorced in 1938.² She married, secondly, Major Alexander Maitland Stuart, son of James Stuart, on 8 July 1939.²
     From 25 June 1924, her married name became Clark. From 8 July 1939, her married name became Stuart.²

     Ann Joan Patricia Clark was born on 9 May 1925.¹ She is the daughter of George Wallis Newport Clark and Betty Joan Pelly.² She married Vice-Admiral Sir Arthur Richard Hezlet, son of Maj.-Gen. Robert Knox Hezlet, on 29 December 1948.¹
     She was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ From 29 December 1948, her married name became Hezlet.

     Maj.-Gen.
