     Shirley Monteith Erskine was educated at The Mount, York, Yorkshire, England.1 He graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He lived in 2003 at The Long House, Woodgreen, Hampshire, England.1
