Anne Elizabeth Elphinstone was the daughter of Admiral Hon. Charles Elphinstone and Donna Catalina Paulina Alessandro.2 She married William Cunninghame Bontine of Ardoch, son of R. C. Cunninghame Bontine of Gartmore and Finlayston, on 12 June 1851.1 She died on 27 March 1925.1
