Alexander Murray, 4th Lord Elibank was born on 9 March 1676/77.3 He was the son of Patrick Murray, 3rd Baron Elibank and Anna Burnett.2 He married Elizabeth Stirling, daughter of George Stirling, on 24 February 1697/98.3 He died on 6 February 1735/36 at age 58.3
