Sir Alan D'Ardis Erskine-Murray, 14th Lord Elibank was born on 31 December 1923.1 He is the son of Robert Alan Murray and Eileen Mary MacManus.2 He married Valerie Sylvia Dennis, daughter of Herbert William Dennis, on 1 September 1962.1
