     Archibald Edmonstone, 9th of Duntreath is the son of Archibald Edmonstone, 8th of Duntreath, 2nd of Redhall and Jean Hamilton.^1,2 He married Anna Helena Scott.²

     Anne Campbell was born in 1695 at Argyll, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Hon. John Campbell and Elizabeth Elphinstone.¹ She married Archibald Edmonstone, 10th of Duntreath, son of Archibald Edmonstone, 9th of Duntreath and Anna Helena Scott, on 4 October 1716 at Old Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.² She died on 2 November 1785 at Ireland^G.²
