     Thomas de Dunbar, 2nd Earl of Moray was the son of John de Dunbar, 1st Earl of Moray and Marjorie Stewart.2 He married Margaret (?) before February 1391/92.1 He died in 1415, in or after spring.1
     Thomas de Dunbar, 2nd Earl of Moray held the office of Sheriff of Inverness before 1392.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Erl of Moray [S., 1372] circa February 1391/92.1 He fought in the Battle of Homildon Hill in 1402, where he was captured by the English.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Banff in 1405.1 In 1405 he was released by the English.1

     Lady Janet Dunbar was the daughter of James Dunbar, 4th Earl of Moray and Janet Seton.2,1 She married, firstly, James Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton, son of William Crichton of that Ilk, 1st Lord Crichton.1 She married, secondly, John Sutherland before 17 January 1458/59.1 She died from 18 March 1493/94 to 1505/6.1
     From 1442, her married name became Crichton. From before 17 January 1458/59, her married name became Sutherland.1
