     Charles Berwick Curtis was born on 18 March 1795.1 He was the son of Sir William Curtis, 1st Bt. and Anne Constable.2 He married Henrietta Pearson, daughter of Reverend J. Battridge Pearson, on 30 November 1822.1 He died on 26 October 1876 at age 81.1

     Sir William Curtis, 1st Bt. was born on 25 January 1752.2 He was the son of Joseph Curtis and Mary Tennant.1 He married Anne Constable, daughter of Edward Constable, on 9 January 1776.2 He died on 18 January 1829 at age 76.3
     Sir William Curtis, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London between 1790 and 1818.2 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1795 and 1795. He was created 1st Baronet Curtis, of Cullands Grove, Middlesex [U.K.] on 23 December 1802.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingley in 1819.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London in 1820.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings in 1826.2
