     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He lived in 1976 at The Old Rectory, Closworth, Yeovil, Somerset, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.¹

     Roseanna Crombie married Major Malcolm Kenneth Shennan, son of Major Kenneth Gordon Woodbine Shennan and Lilah Maude Daly, on 17 April 1964.¹

     Clare Susanna Shennan was born on 1 December 1929.¹ She is the daughter of Major Kenneth Gordon Woodbine Shennan and Lilah Maude Daly.² She married Major John Hubert de Burgh, son of Captain Sir Hubert Henry de Burgh and Mary Edith Margery isabel Buchan, on 29 September 1952.¹
