     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, U.S.A., with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He lived in 1999 at Bassets, Coggins Mill Lane, Mayfield, Sussex, England.2 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baron Ashtown, of Moate, co. Galway [I., 1800] on 6 March 2010.3

She was the daughter of George Henry Robert Charles William Vane-Tempest, 5th Marquess of Londonderry and Mary Cornelia Edwards.1 She married Wentworth Canning Blackett Beaumont, 1st Viscount Allendale, son of Wentworth Blackett Beaumont, 1st Baron Allendale and Lady Margaret Anne de Burgh, on 12 November 1889.1 She died on 31 July 1945 at age 81.2
      Her married name became Beaumont. As a result of her marriage, Lady Alexandrina Louise Maud Vane-Tempest was styled as Baroness Allendale on 13 February 1907. As a result of her marriage, Lady Alexandrina Louise Maud Vane-Tempest was styled as Viscountess Allendale on 2 July 1911.
