     Sir George Chetwynd, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 September 1809 at Grendon Hall, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Sir George Chetwynd, 2nd Bt. and Hannah Maria Sparrow.3 He married Lady Charlotte Augusta Hill, daughter of Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill, 3rd Marquess of Downshire and Lady Maria Windsor, on 2 August 1843 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.2 He died on 24 March 1869 at age 59 at Grendon Hall, Warwickshire, England.2
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 27 November 1827.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1830 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Chetwynd, of Brocton Hall, co. Stafford [G.B., 1795] in 1850.1 He gained the rank of Captain before 1861 in the service of the Warwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry.2

     Lady Charlotte Augusta Hill was born on 30 June 1815.2 She was the daughter of Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill, 3rd Marquess of Downshire and Lady Maria Windsor.3 She married Sir George Chetwynd, 3rd Bt., son of Sir George Chetwynd, 2nd Bt. and Hannah Maria Sparrow, on 2 August 1843 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.2 She died on 24 November 1861 at age 46 at Grendon Hall, Warwickshire, England, as a result of a fall from her horse.2

     Captain Walter Hill Chetwynd was born on 13 January 1856.1 He was the son of Sir George Chetwynd, 3rd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Augusta Hill.2 He married Hon. Edomé Eliza Theodosia Monson, daughter of Debonnaire John Monson, 8th Baron Monson and Augusta Louisa Caroline Ellis, on 14 June 1890.1 He died on 23 February 1916 at age 60.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 16th Lancers.1
