     Lydia Heathcote was the daughter of John Heathcote.2 She married William Henry Dawnay, 6th Viscount Downe, son of John Dawnay, 4th Viscount Downe and Laura Burton, on 6 June 1811.1 She died on 18 March 1848.1
     From 6 June 1811, her married name became Dawnay. As a result of her marriage, Lydia Heathcote was styled as Viscountess Downe on 18 February 1832.
