     Sir Henry Boothby, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1682.1 He was the son of Francis Boothby and Anne Child.1 He died circa November 1710 at London, EnglandG, unmarried.2 He was buried on 25 November 1710 at Ashbourne, Derbyshire, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 10 November 1710.2
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 19 November 1697.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1700.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boothby, of Broadlow Ash, co. Derby [E., 1660] on 24 March 1707.1 His last will was dated 16 July 1708. He lived at Newport, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1

     Hon. Elizabeth Venables-Vernon was the daughter of George Venables-Vernon, 1st Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Martha Harcourt.3 She married George Simon Harcourt, 2nd Earl Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt, son of General Simon Harcourt, 1st Earl Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt and Rebecca Samborne le Bas, on 26 September 1765.3 She died on 25 January 1826, without issue.1
     Her married name became Harcourt. After her marriage, Hon. Elizabeth Venables-Vernon was styled as Countess Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt on 16 September 1777.

     George Simon Harcourt, 2nd Earl Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt was born on 1 August 1736.1 He was the son of General Simon Harcourt, 1st Earl Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt and Rebecca Samborne le Bas.2,3 He married Hon. Elizabeth Venables-Vernon, daughter of George Venables-Vernon, 1st Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Martha Harcourt, on 26 September 1765.1 He died on 20 April 1809 at age 72, without issue.1
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for St. Albans between 1761 and 1768.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1766.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1766.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt, co. Oxford [E., 1721] on 16 September 1777.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt, co. Oxford [E., 1711] on 16 September 1777.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl Harcourt of Stanton Harcourt, co. Oxford [G.B., 1749] on 16 September 1777.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Nuneham of Nuneham Courtney, co. Oxford [G.B., 1749] on 16 September 1777.1 He held the office of Master of the Horse to Queen Charlotte between 1790 and 1809.1 He played host to his distant cousin the Duc d'Harcourt when the latter was a refugee in England from the French Revolution.1
