George John Vernon, 5th Baron Vernon was born on 22 June 1803.1 He was the son of George Charles Vernon, 4th Baron Vernon and Frances Maria Warren. He married Isabella Caroline Ellison, daughter of Cuthbert Ellison, on 30 October 1824.1 He married, secondly, Frances Maria Emma Boothby, daughter of Reverend Brooke Boothby and Louisa Henrietta Venables, on 14 December 1859. He died on 31 May 1866 at age 62, having by his 1st wife had, with another s (died an infant):.1
He was also known as George John Warren.1 He was educated Eton and Ch Ch Oxford.1 He gained the title of 5th Baron Vernon. He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) Derbys and S Derbys 1832–34 in 1831.1 On 14 October 1837 roy licence.1 On 14 December 1859 married 2nd his cousin Frances Maria Emma (married 2nd 19 July 1881 Rev Charles Martyn Reed.1
