Ralph Westropp Brereton was born in 1798.1 He is the son of Arthur Brereton and Eliza Westropp.2 He married, firstly, Ellen Mary Geary, daughter of John Geary, on 20 June 1826.1 He married, secondly, Dilliana Barry, daughter of James Barry, on 11 July 1846.1
