     Janet Dunbar is the daughter of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar.1,2 A contract for the marriage of Janet Dunbar and John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock was signed on 31 December 1737.1 She married, firstly, John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock, son of George Sinclair, 1st of Barrock and Anne Dunbar, on 1 January 1738.3 She married, secondly, Harry Innes of Borlum and Sandside after 1743.1
     From 31 December 1737, her married name became Sinclair.1 From 1 January 1738, her married name became Sinclair. From after 1743, her married name became Innes.1

     Duncan Darroch, 8th of Gourock was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1957 in the service of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.1 He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Darroch on 27 December 1960.1 He lived in 2003 at The Red House, Branksome Park Road, Camberley, Surrey, England.1
