     Mary Watkins was born circa 1550 at Holwell, Dorset.1 She was the daughter of Richard Watkins and Mary Coker.1 She married, firstly, James Hannam before 1597.1 She married, secondly, Sir Francis Hastings, son of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole, after 1597.1
     From before 1597, her married name became Hannam.1 From after 1597, her married name became Hastings.1
