     Colonel Richard Crawford Langford was born on 28 May 1907.2 He is the son of Major Charles Langford and Agnes Sutherland Matterson.1,2 He was baptised in June 1907 at Lismore Cathedral, Lismore, County Lismore, Ireland.2 He married, secondly, Molly Moore, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Thornton Trevor Moore, after 1966.1

     Major Charles Langford was born on 5 October 1873 at Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland.2,3 He was the son of John Crawford Langford and Margaret Euphemia Gibbon.3 He married Agnes Sutherland Matterson, daughter of Joseph Matterson and Agnes Sutherland, on 28 June 1906.3 He died on 6 August 1969 at age 95.2
     He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the King's Royal Irish Hussars.1 He lived at The Abbey, Rathkeale, County Limerick, IrelandG.1
