     Agnes Sutherland Matterson was born on 23 October 1879 at George's Street, Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Joseph Matterson and Agnes Sutherland.1 She married Major Charles Langford, son of John Crawford Langford and Margaret Euphemia Gibbon, on 28 June 1906.1 She died on 22 December 1968 at age 89 at Rathkeale Abbey, Rathkeale, County Limerick, Ireland.2 She was buried at Deansgrange Cemetery, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     From 28 June 1906, her married name became Langford.1
