     Harriet Le Fanu was born in 1796.1 She was the daughter of Henry Le Fanu and Anne Elizabeth Sheridan.2 She died on 8 February 1818, unmarried.3

     Reverend Peter Le Fanu was born, on 12 September 1749.1 He was the son of Guillaume Philippe Le Fanu and Henriette Raboteaude de Puygibaud.2 He married Frances Knowles, daughter of John Knowles and Hester Sheridan.1 He died in 1825.1
     Reverend Peter Le Fanu was a playwright.1 He wrote the book Smock Alley Secrets, published 1778, a play produced at Dublin.1
