Reverend Philip Le Fanu was born in 1735.1 He was the son of Guillaume Philippe Le Fanu and Henriette Raboteau de Puygibaud.2 He married Rebecca Newton, daughter of Edward Newton, on 23 April 1768.1 He died on 15 January 1795, without issue.2
