     Charles Carrington Burke was born on 8 July 1853.1 He was the son of James St. George Burke and Anne Eliza Grubbe.2 He married Frances Philippa Addison, daughter of Charles Greenstreet Addison, on 7 December 1882.1 He died on 22 May 1904 at age 50.1
     Charles Carrington Burke was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1878 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He lived at Mitchen Hall, Surrey, England.1
