     Harriet Esther Westenra was the daughter of Henry Westenra and Harriet Murray.1 She married Colonel Hon. Edward Wingfield, son of Richard Wingfield, 3rd Viscount Powerscourt and Lady Amelia Stratford, on 17 April 1797.1 She died on 16 December 1858.1
     Her married name became Wingfield.

     Sir William Verner, 1st Bt. was born on 25 October 1782.1 He was the son of Colonel James Verner and Jane Clarke.1 He married Harriet Wingfield, daughter of Colonel Hon. Edward Wingfield and Harriet Esther Westenra, on 19 October 1819.1 He died on 20 January 1871 at age 88.1
     Sir William Verner, 1st Bt. fought in the Battle of Corunna.1 He fought in the Battle of Orthes.1 He fought in the Battle of Toulouse.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 7th Hussars.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Armagh between 1832 and 1868.1 He was created 1st Baronet Verner, of Verner's Bridge, co. Armagh [U.K.] on 22 July 1846.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.).1 He had four other daughters.1
