     Charles Augustus Bennet, 5th Earl of Tankerville was born on 28 April 1776. He was the son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke. He married Armandine Sophie Leonie Corisande de Gramont, daughter of Antoime de Gramont, Duc de Gramont, on 28 July 1806. He died on 25 June 1859 at age 83.
     He gained the title of 5th Earl of Tankerville.

     Armandine Sophie Leonie Corisande de Gramont was the daughter of Antoime de Gramont, Duc de Gramont. She married Charles Augustus Bennet, 5th Earl of Tankerville, son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke, on 28 July 1806. She died on 23 January 1865.
      Her married name became Bennet.

     Antoime de Gramont, Duc de Gramont gained the title of Duc de Gramont.

     Henry Grey Bennet was born on 2 December 1777. He was the son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke. He married Gertrude Frances Russell, daughter of Lord William Russell and Lady Charlotte Anne Villiers, on 15 May 1816. He died on 29 May 1836 at age 58.
     He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.¹
     

     Gertrude Frances Russell was the daughter of Lord William Russell and Lady Charlotte Anne Villiers. She married Henry Grey Bennet, son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke, on 15 May 1816. She died on 23 January 1841.
      Her married name became Bennet.

     Charlotte Emma Georgina Bennet was born on 24 January 1818.² She was the daughter of Henry Grey Bennet and Gertrude Frances Russell. She married Fitzstephen Patrick French, son of Arthur French and Margaret Costello, on 24 November 1839.¹
      From 24 November 1839, her married name became French.

     Fitzstephen Patrick French was born on 7 December 1801.¹ He was the son of Arthur French and Margaret Costello.² He married Charlotte Emma Georgina Bennet, daughter of Henry Grey Bennet and Gertrude Frances Russell, on 24 November 1839.¹ He died on 4 June 1873 at age 71.¹
      His name was legally changed to Fitzstephen French.³ He was given the name of Patrick French at birth.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Roscommon between 1832 and 1873.¹ He was Colonel of the County Roscommon Militia between 1854 and 1873.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Roscommon.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Sligo.¹ He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland].¹ He lived at Lough Erritt, Ireland.¹

     Gertrude Frances Bennet was born on 8 June 1822.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Grey Bennet and Gertrude Frances Russell. She married Hamilton Gorges, son of Hamilton Gorges, on 1 August 1839.
      Her married name became Gorges.

     Hamilton Gorges was the son of Hamilton Gorges.¹ He died in 1838.¹

     Captain John Astley Bennet was born on 21 December 1778. He was the son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke. He married Julia Conyers, daughter of John Conyers, on 27 August 1811. He died on 14 September 1812 at age 33.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.
