Charles Augustus Bennet, 5th Earl of Tankerville was born on 28 April 1776. He was the son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke. He married Armandine Sophie Leonie Corisande de Gramont, daughter of Antoime de Gramont, Duc de Gramont, on 28 July 1806. He died on 25 June 1859 at age 83.

Henry Grey Bennet was born on 2 December 1777. He was the son of Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville and Emma Colebrooke. He married Gertrude Frances Russell, daughter of Lord William Russell and Lady Charlotte Anne Villiers, on 15 May 1816. He died on 29 May 1836 at age 58.

Fitzstephen Patrick French was born on 7 December 1801.1 He was the son of Arthur French and Margaret Costello.2 He married Charlotte Emma Georgina Bennet, daughter of Henry Grey Bennet and Gertrude Frances Russell, on 24 November 1839.1 He died on 4 June 1873 at age 71.1
His name was legally changed to Fitzstephen French.3 He was given the name of Patrick French at birth.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Roscommon between 1832 and 1873.1 He was Colonel of the County Roscommon Militia between 1854 and 1873.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Roscommon.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Sligo.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.)
