Katherine Fanny Rigby was the daughter of James Rigby.2 She married Hon. Sir Edward Chandos Leigh, son of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes, on 1 June 1871.1 She died on 3 August 1920.1

Major Chandos Leigh was born on 29 August 1873.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Edward Chandos Leigh and Katherine Fanny Rigby.2 He married Winifred Madeline Jeffreys, daughter of Rt. Hon. Arthur Frederick Jeffreys and Amy Constantia Fenwick, on 6 June 1912.1 He died on 25 August 1914 at age 40 at Mons, Belgium, killed in action.1
He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He was awarded the Order of the Medjidie 3rd Class.1 He was awarded the Order of the Osmanieh 4th Class.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Own Scottish Borderers, attached to the Egyptian Army.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War.1

Winifred Madeline Jeffreys was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Arthur Frederick Jeffreys and Amy Constantia Fenwick.2 She married, firstly, Major Chandos Leigh, son of Hon. Sir Edward Chandos Leigh and Katherine Fanny Rigby, on 6 June 1912.2 She married, secondly, Sir Christopher Boyd William Magnay, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Magnay, 2nd Bt., on 7 October 1925.2 She died on 28 September 1966, without issue.1

Violet Agnes Evelyn Leigh was born on 7 February 1875.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Sir Edward Chandos Leigh and Katherine Fanny Rigby.2 She married Sir Bertram Hardy, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Reginald Hardy, 2nd Bt. and Lucy Marion Gladstone, on 26 October 1899.1 She died on 4 November 1972 at age 97.2
From 26 October 1899, her married name became Hardy. She wrote the book As it Was.2 She wrote the book Touched by the Sun.2

Sir Bertram Hardy, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 February 1877.2 He was the son of Sir Reginald Hardy, 2nd Bt. and Lucy Marion Gladstone.2 He married Violet Agnes Evelyn Leigh, daughter of Hon. Sir Edward Chandos Leigh and Katherine Fanny Rigby, on 26 October 1899.1 He died on 16 September 1953 at age 76.2
