     He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).¹ He was senior partner of Ashurst, Morris, Crisp and Company, solicitors.¹ He was Honorary Secretary of the Royal Microscopical Society between 1878 and 1879.¹ He was Honorary Treasurer and Vice-President of the Linnean Society of London between 1881 and 1906.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.¹ He was invested as a Knight in 1907.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Crisp, of Bungay, Suffolk [U.K.] on 5 February 1913.¹

     Catherine Howes was the daughter of George Durrant Howes.¹ She married Sir Frank Crisp, 1st Bt., son of John Shalders Crisp and Harriet Childs, on 27 August 1867.¹ She died on 2 January 1931.¹
      From 27 August 1867, her married name became Crisp.

     Sir Frank Morris Crisp, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 March 1872.¹ He was the son of Sir Frank Crisp, 1st Bt. and Catherine Howes.² He died on 5 April 1938 at age 66, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Crisp, of Bungay, Suffolk [U.K., 1913] on 29 April 1919.¹ He lived at Friar Park, Henley, Somerset, England.¹
