     John Shalders Crisp was born on 22 April 1811.1 He was the son of William Crisp and Elizabeth Shalders.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Childs, daughter of John Childs and Anna Maria Brightly, on 2 June 1842.1 He married, secondly, Jane Jackson, daughter of Benjamin Jackson, on 8 June 1870.1 He died on 22 January 1896 at age 84.1
