     Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt. was born on 30 August 1893.2 He was the son of Sir Wyndham Charles Henry Hanmer, 6th Bt. and Essex Selby-Lowndes.2,3 He married, firstly, Aileen Mary Rogerson, daughter of Captain John Edwin Rogerson, on 25 August 1921.2 He married, secondly, Angela Mary Morley, daughter of Frederick William Morley, on 23 November 1968.4 He died on 1 January 1977 at age 83.4
      Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Edward.2 He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1921.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Captain Shropshire Yeomanry and Royal Air Force.2 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Hanmer, of Hanmer, co. Flint [G.B., 1774] on 3 June 1922.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1932.2

     Pamela Aileen Hanmer was born on 24 August 1923.2 She is the daughter of Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt. and Aileen Mary Rogerson.3,2 She married Sir Thomas Douglas Wilson of Airdrie, 4th Bt., son of 2nd Lieutenant Thomas Douglas Wilson and Kathleen Elsie Gray, on 16 June 1947.1
      From 16 June 1947, her married name became Wilson.1 She lived in 2003 at Lillingstone Lovell Manor, Buckinghamshire, England.1
