Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Rowley, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 February 1801.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King.2 He married, firstly, Frances Evelyn, daughter of John Evelyn and Anne Shee, on 31 August 1822.1 He married, secondly, Peroline Marcowitz, daughter of Michel Marcowitz, on 5 April 1843.1 He died on 23 November 1884 at age 83.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Rowley, of Hill House, co. Berks [U.K., 1836] on 13 October 1845.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1

Peroline Marcowitz was the daughter of Michel Marcowitz.1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Rowley, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King, on 5 April 1843.1 She died on 23 July 1883.1

Sir George Charles Erskine Rowley, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 September 1844.2 He was the son of Major George Rowley and Emily Isabella Honner.2 He married, firstly, Alicia Augusta Hollis, daughter of Captain unknown Hollis, on 27 September 1867.2 He married, secondly, Amy Isabel Batt, daughter of William Foster Batt, on 24 July 1890.2 He died on 15 January 1922 at age 77.2
