     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Rowley, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 February 1801.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King.² He married, firstly, Frances Evelyn, daughter of John Evelyn and Anne Shee, on 31 August 1822.¹ He married, secondly, Peroline Marcowitz, daughter of Michel Marcowitz, on 5 April 1843.¹ He died on 23 November 1884 at age 83.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Rowley, of Hill House, co. Berks [U.K., 1836] on 13 October 1845.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.¹

     Peroline Marcowitz was the daughter of Michel Marcowitz.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Rowley, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King, on 5 April 1843.¹ She died on 23 July 1883.¹
     From 5 April 1843, her married name became Rowley.

     John Wilson is the son of William Wilson and Agnes Cunninghame.¹
     He held the office of Baillie of Edinburgh.¹ He was a merchant at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He purchased in 1744 from William Wilson at Cleugh, Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹ He had one other son.¹

     Burton Rowley was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King.² He died in 1822.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     John Wilson is the son of John Wilson.¹

     Lt.-Col. Robert Honner lived at Lee Mount, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Emily Isabella Honner was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Honner.² She married Major George Rowley, son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King, on 13 April 1830.¹ She died on 19 January 1896.¹
     From 13 April 1830, her married name became Rowley.

     Lt.-Col. Sir George Charles Erskine Rowley, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 September 1844.² He was the son of Major George Rowley and Emily Isabella Honner.² He married, firstly, Alicia Augusta Hollis, daughter of Captain unknown Hollis, on 27 September 1867.² He married, secondly, Amy Isabel Batt, daughter of William Foster Batt, on 24 July 1890.² He died on 15 January 1922 at age 77.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Rowley, of Hill House, co. Berks [U.K., 1836] on 23 November 1884.¹

     Emilie Elizabeth Burton Rowley was the daughter of Major George Rowley and Emily Isabella Honner.² She married Lt.-Col. F. W. Knight on 9 August 1853.¹ She died on 17 January 1902.¹
