     Robert Dennett Rodney, 6th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke was born on 21 May 1820.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Robert Rodney and Anne Dennett.² He married Sarah Singleton, daughter of John Singleton, on 3 August 1850.¹ He died on 19 August 1864 at age 44.¹
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1838 in the Scots Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke, co. Somerset [G.B., 1782] on 15 May 1846.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Rodney [G.B., 1764] on 15 May 1846.²

     Sarah Singleton was the daughter of John Singleton.¹ She married Robert Dennett Rodney, 6th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke, son of Captain Hon. Robert Rodney and Anne Dennett, on 3 August 1850.¹ She died on 1 October 1882.¹
     After her marriage, Sarah Singleton was styled as Baroness Rodney of Rodney Stoke on 3 August 1850. From 3 August 1850, her married name became Rodney.¹

     Henry Prestige is the son of Nicholas James Prestige.¹

     Amelia Prescott was the daughter of William Willoughby Prescott.² She married Sir Jacob Henry Preston, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Preston, 1st Bt. and Jane Bagge, on 4 November 1846.¹ She died on 2 July 1872.¹
     From 4 November 1846, her married name became Preston.
