     Francis Andrews Ferguson Davie was born on 15 July 1867.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Robert Ferguson Davie and Anne Clarissa Andrews.2 He married, firstly, Amanda von Fuch de Fabris, daughter of John von Fuch de Fabris, on 9 March 1891.1 He and Amanda von Fuch de Fabris were divorced in 1895.1 He married, secondly, Alice Moore West, daughter of William Moore West, in 1917.1 He died on 14 August 1917 at age 50.1
     Francis Andrews Ferguson Davie gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Black Watch.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the service of the Canadian Militia.1
