     Charles Francis Ferguson Davie was born on 2 January 1898.1 He was the son of Henry Herrick Ferguson Davie and Eleanora Inloes Schultz.2 He married Alice Clarke Newman, daughter of Henry Newman, on 30 December 1924.1 He died on 22 March 1967 at age 69.1
     Charles Francis Ferguson Davie fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Northamptonshire Regiment and Chinese Labour Corps.1

     Alice Clarke Newman was born circa 1887.1 She was the daughter of Henry Newman.2 She married Charles Francis Ferguson Davie, son of Henry Herrick Ferguson Davie and Eleanora Inloes Schultz, on 30 December 1924.1 She died on 20 April 1968 at Windhoek, Namibia, killed in a plane crash.1
     From 30 December 1924, her married name became Ferguson Davie.1

     From 27 March 1948, her married name became King. From 29 November 1952, her married name became Pearce.1
