     Sir John Davie, 1st Bt. was born in 1589.2 He is the son of John Davy and Margaret Southcote.2 He married, firstly, Juliana Strode, daughter of Sir William Strode and Mary Southcote.2 He married, secondly, Isabel Hele in 1629.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton in 1621.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1629.2 He was created 1st Baronet Davie, of Creedy [England] on 9 September 1641.2 He lived at CreedyG.2

     From 30 March 1650, her married name became Yonge.1

     Sir Walter Yonge, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1625.2 He was the son of Sir John Yonge, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Strode.3 He married Isabel Davie, daughter of Sir John Davie, 1st Bt. and Isabel Hele, on 30 March 1650.1 He died on 21 November 1670.1
     He was admitted to Inner Temple.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Honiton in 1659.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lyme Regis in 1660.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Yonge, of Culliton [E., 1661] in 1663.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dartmouth between 1667 and 1670.2
