     Sir Charles Joseph Napier, 6th Bt. was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Napier, of Merrion Square, Dublin [U.K., 1867] on 2 June 1994.3 He was a fundraising executive for Scottish European Aid between 1995 and 1996.1 He was a fundraising executive for MIND in 1996.1 He lived in 2003 at 2 Cromwell Grove, London, England.1

     Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Napier, 1st Bt. was born on 26 December 1804.1 He is the son of William Napier and Rosetta MacNaghten.2 He married Charity Grace, daughter of John Grace, on 20 August 1831.1 He died on 9 December 1882 at age 77.1
     Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Napier, 1st Bt. graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising barrister in 1831.1 He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1844.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dublin University in 1848.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1852.1 He held the office of Lord Chancellor [Ireland] in 1858.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland].1 He held the office of Vice-Chancellor of Dublin University between 1867 and 1880.1 He was created 1st Baronet Napier, of Merrion Square, Dublin [U.K.] on 9 April 1867.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1
