     Janet Henrietta Curtis was born on 10 June 1908.1 She is the daughter of Vice-Admiral Berwick Curtis and Mildred Henrietta Curtis.2 She married, firstly, Commander William Kenneth Ramsden Cross, son of Thomas Cross, on 23 July 1927.1 She and Commander William Kenneth Ramsden Cross were divorced in 1936.1 She married, secondly, Major Arthur Christopher John Congreve on 9 April 1943.1 She married, thirdly, Albert Russell Cowell in 1951.1 She and Major Arthur Christopher John Congreve were divorced in 1950.1
     From 23 July 1927, her married name became Cross. From 9 April 1943, her married name became Congreve.1 From 1951, her married name became Cowell.1 She lived in 2003 at Marrett Cottage, Hoarwithy, Herefordshire, England.1

     Commander William Kenneth Ramsden Cross was the son of Thomas Cross.2 He married Janet Henrietta Curtis, daughter of Vice-Admiral Berwick Curtis and Mildred Henrietta Curtis, on 23 July 1927.1 He and Janet Henrietta Curtis were divorced in 1936.1 He died on 24 May 1941, killed on board H.M.S. Hood.1
     Commander William Kenneth Ramsden Cross was Commander.1

Welsby-Williams, on 27 January 1953.1 He and Sonia Welsby-Williams were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Lavinia Thomson, daughter of G/Capt. P. C. Thomson, in 1971.1
     Lt.-Cdr. Giles Berwick Cross fought in the Korean War.1 He fought in the Lieutenant-Commander, Royal Navy.1 He lived in 2003 at Halfpenny House, Common Hill, Fownhope, Herefordshire, England.1
