     Ellis Watkin Cunliffe was born on 5 September 1787.1 He was the son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch.2 He married Caroline Kingston, daughter of John Kingston, on 13 June 1822.1 He died on 20 December 1866 at age 79.3

     From 17 July 1867, her married name became Cunliffe. She lived at Petton Park, Shropshire, England.1

     Major John Brooke Cunliffe was born on 9 October 1869.1 He was the son of Ellis Brooke Cunliffe and Emma Florence Sparling.2 He died on 20 April 1917 at age 47, from an illness contracted on active service.3
     Major John Brooke Cunliffe fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry.1
