     Ellis Watkin Cunliffe was born on 5 September 1787.¹ He was the son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch.² He married Caroline Kingston, daughter of John Kingston, on 13 June 1822.¹ He died on 20 December 1866 at age 79.³

     Caroline Kingston was the daughter of John Kingston.² She married Ellis Watkin Cunliffe, son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch, on 13 June 1822.¹ She died in 1856.¹
     From 13 June 1822, her married name became Cunliffe.

     Christopher Odell was born in 1777.¹ He was the son of John Odell and Judith Musgrave.¹
     Christopher Odell graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was a practising barrister.¹

     Emma Florence Sparling was the daughter of Reverend John Sparling.² She married Ellis Brooke Cunliffe, son of Ellis Watkin Cunliffe and Caroline Kingston, on 17 July 1867.¹ She died on 13 May 1925.¹
     From 17 July 1867, her married name became Cunliffe. She lived at Petton Park, Shropshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. Ellis Sparling Cunliffe was born on 13 May 1868.¹ He was the son of Ellis Brooke Cunliffe and Emma Florence Sparling.² He died on 12 June 1925 at age 57.¹
     Lt.-Col. Ellis Sparling Cunliffe held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 4th Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.¹ He lived at Petton Park, Shropshire, England.¹

     Major John Brooke Cunliffe was born on 9 October 1869.¹ He was the son of Ellis Brooke Cunliffe and Emma Florence Sparling.² He died on 20 April 1917 at age 47, from an illness contracted on active service.³
     Major John Brooke Cunliffe fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry.¹

     Isabella Odell was born in 1778.¹ She was the daughter of John Odell and Judith Musgrave.¹ She married Major Jasper Grant, son of Thomas Grant, in 1799.¹ She died in 1855.¹
     From 1799, her married name became Grant.¹

     Major Jasper Grant is the son of Thomas Grant.¹ He married Isabella Odell, daughter of John Odell and Judith Musgrave, in 1799.¹
     Major Jasper Grant held the office of Governor of Upper Canada.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 41st Foot.¹
