     Sir Malby Crofton, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 August 1857.2 He was the son of Henry Bliss Crofton and Sophia Horsfall.1,2 He married Louisa Margaret Verschoyle, daughter of Richard John Verschoyle, on 18 August 1880.2 He died on 17 September 1926 at age 69.2
     Sir Malby Crofton, 3rd Bt. gained the title of 3rd Baronet Crofton.
