     Reverend Francis James Noel was born on 4 May 1793.¹ He was the son of Sir Gerard Noel Noel, 2nd Bt. and Diana Middleton, Baroness Barham.² He married Cecilia Penelope Methuen, daughter of Paul Cobb Methuen and Matilda Gooch, on 24 April 1822.¹ He died on 30 July 1854 at age 61.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was the Rector at Nettlestead, Kent, England.¹ He was the Rector at Teston, Kent, England.¹

     Cecilia Penelope Methuen was born circa 1798.¹ She was the daughter of Paul Cobb Methuen and Matilda Gooch.¹ She married Reverend Francis James Noel, son of Sir Gerard Noel Noel, 2nd Bt. and Diana Middleton, Baroness Barham, on 24 April 1822.¹ She died on 27 June 1885.¹
      From 24 April 1822, her married name became Noel.

     Colonel Edward Andrew Noel was born on 2 January 1825.¹ He was the son of Reverend Francis James Noel and Cecilia Penelope Methuen.² He married Sarah Gay Forbes Darwin, daughter of William Brown Darwin, on 24 August 1848.¹ He died on 18 February 1899 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 31st Foot.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.¹ He was admitted to Gentlemen-at-Arms.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.¹ He lived at Clanna Falls, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He lived at Outwoods, Duffield, Derbyshire, England.¹ He was Colonel of the 1st Gloucestershire Royal Volunteers.¹

     William Brown Darwin was born on 12 February 1774.² He was the son of William Alvey Darwin and Jane Brown.^2,3 He was baptised on 21 March 1774 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, England.³ He died on 10 June 1841 at age 67.²
     He lived at Elston Hall, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Sarah Gay Forbes Darwin was born on 13 February 1830.² She was the daughter of William Brown Darwin.³ She married Colonel Edward Andrew Noel, son of Reverend Francis James Noel and Cecilia Penelope Methuen, on 24 August 1848.¹ She died on 15 June 1889 at age 59.¹
      From 24 August 1848, her married name became Noel.

     Colonel William Frederick Noel was born on 8 August 1849.² He was the son of Colonel Edward Andrew Noel and Sarah Gay Forbes Darwin.³ He married, firstly, Josephine Annie Hallewell, daughter of Joseph Watts Hallewell, on 4 February 1879.² He and Josephine Annie Hallewell were divorced in 1883.² He married, secondly, Beatrice Elizabeth Bradney, daughter of Reverend Joseph Christopher Bradney, on 21 January 1885.² He married, thirdly, Laura Carolina Beilby, daughter of Charles Henry Beilby, on 2 September 1896.⁴ He died on 8 October 1923 at age 74.⁴
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthshire.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.² He lived at Stardens, Newent, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Joseph Watts Hallewell lived at Stratford Park, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Josephine Annie Hallewell was the daughter of Joseph Watts Hallewell.² She married Colonel William Frederick Noel, son of Colonel Edward Andrew Noel and Sarah Gay Forbes Darwin, on 4 February 1879.¹ She and Colonel William Frederick Noel were divorced in 1883.¹ She died on 25 February 1904.¹
      From 4 February 1879, her married name became Noel.

     Lieutenant Edward William Middleton Noel was born on 18 March 1880.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Frederick Noel and Josephine Annie Hallewell.² He died on 19 May 1900 at age 20 at Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Gloucester Regiment.¹

     Cecil Frederick Gerard Noel was born on 22 December 1880.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Frederick Noel and Josephine Annie Hallewell.² He married Karen Dredge on 25 March 1930.¹ He died on 13 November 1957 at age 76.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal East Kent Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1915, where he was wounded.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹
