     Lady Margaret Gordon was the daughter of George Gordon, 4th Earl of Huntly and Elizabeth Keith.1 She married John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes, son of William Forbes, 7th Lord Forbes and Elizabeth Keith, in November 1558.1 She and John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes were divorced in 1574.1
     Her married name became Forbes.

     John Forbes, 9th Lord Forbes was the son of John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes and Lady Margaret Gordon.1 He died on 2 August 1606, unmarried.
     He was a Capuchin monk after 2 August 1593 at Tournai, BelgiumG.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Forbes [S., 1445] on 29 June 1606, de jure.1

     Janet Seton was the daughter of William Seton of Touch.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Belllenden before 1580.1 She married, secondly, John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes, son of William Forbes, 7th Lord Forbes and Elizabeth Keith, in 1580.1 She died on 2 February 1616.1
     From before 1580, her married name became Belllenden.1 From 1580, her married name became Forbes.1

Samuel Stillman Gair1

     Samuel Stillman Gair was born in 1789.2,3 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Gaire and Rebecca Proudfoot.4 He married Elizabeth Greene Wainwright in 1821.4,3 He died in 1847.4
     He was also known as Samuel Stillman Gaire.4 He was managing partner of the Liverpool branch of Baring Brothers in 1832.3 He was naturalized as a British citizen in 1842.3 He lived at Penketh Hall, Liverpool, Lancashire, EnglandG.1

     Arthur Forbes, 9th Lord Forbes was born on 25 April 1581.1 He was the son of John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes and Janet Seton.1 He married Jean Elphinstone, daughter of Alexander Elphinstone, 4th Lord Elphinstone and Jean Livingstone, on 1 February 1600.2 He died in 1641.3
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Forbes [S., 1445] on 29 June 1606.1

     Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. was born on 25 July 1756 at Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt. and Martha Kenward.1 He married Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson, daughter of John Monson, 2nd Baron Monson of Burton and Theodosia Maddison, on 9 March 1782 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG. He died on 28 October 1831 at age 75 at Kenward Park, Yalding, Kent, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in January 1832.1
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 26 January 1774.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 31 October 1776 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 18 June 1779.1 He lived at Kenward Park, Yalding, Kent, EnglandG.1 He lived at Eltham Lodge, Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1

Sir William Hanmer Dick-Cunyngham, 6th/8th Bt.1

     Sir William Hanmer Dick-Cunyngham, 6th/8th Bt. was born on 22 October 1808.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Keith Dick-Cunyngham, 5th/7th Bt. and Harriet Hanmer.2 He married Susan Alston-Stewart, daughter of Major James Alston-Stewart, on 17 February 1836.2 He died on 20 February 1871 at age 62.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King's Dragoon Guards.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cuninghame, of Caprington, co. Ayr [N.S., 1669] on 14 December 1849.3 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Dick, of Prestonfield, co. Midlothian [S., 1707] on 14 December 1849.2
