     From 23 June 1846, her married name became Isacke.

     Captain Frederick J. Isacke married Mary Turner Erskine Fortescue, daughter of Matthew Fortescue and Erskine Christie, on 23 June 1846.1 He died on 8 June 1885.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Fusiliers.1

Harriet Boswell Erskine Fortescue1

     Harriet Boswell Erskine Fortescue was born on 14 November 1823.2 She was the daughter of Matthew Fortescue and Erskine Christie.3 She was baptised on 7 January 1824 at Scoonie, Fife, ScotlandG.2 She married Captain James Stirling Crawford Stirling-Stuart, son of Captain William Stirling and Anne Charlotte Maitland, on 1 June 1852.1 She died on 5 April 1917 at age 93.1
     From 1 June 1852, her married name became Stirling-Stuart.1

     Reverend William Fortescue was born in 1788.1 He was the son of Captain Hon. Matthew Fortescue and Henrietta Archer.2 He married, firstly, Isobel Barclay Christie, daughter of James Christie of Durie and Mary Turner Barclay-Maitland, on 6 February 1819 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Gould, daughter of Reverend Robert Freke Gould, on 18 February 1832.2 He died on 13 September 1856.2
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was the Rector at Wear Gifford, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at George Nympton, EnglandG.1

Archer Irvine-Fortescue1

     Archer Irvine-Fortescue was born on 12 December 1819.1 He was the son of Reverend William Fortescue and Isobel Barclay Christie.2 He married Anne Irvine Syme, daughter of Patrick Syme and Eliza Irvine-Boswell, on 31 August 1848.1 He died on 7 February 1907 at age 87.1
     He was also known as Archer Irvine-Fortescue.2 He was given the name of Archer Fortescue at birth.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kincardineshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kincardineshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Orkney.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Orkney.1 In 1875 his name was legally changed to Archer Irvine-Fortescue under the terms of the will of his wfe's uncle, John Irvine-Boswell.1 He lived at Swanbister, Orkney Islands, ScotlandG.1 He lived at Kingscausie, Kincardineshire, ScotlandG.1
