     Ernst Leopold Eduard Wilhelm Josias Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 14 January 1935 at Hirschberg, Germany.2 He was the son of Johann Leopold William Albert Ferdinand Victor Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha and Feodora Marie Alma Margarete Baronin von der Horst.1 He married, firstly, Ingeborg Henig, daughter of Richard Henig and Luise Duckwitz, on 4 February 1961.2 He and Ingeborg Henig were divorced on 26 March 1963.2 He married, secondly, Gertraude Monika Pfeiffer, daughter of Hermann Horst Pfeiffer and Gertrud Marianne Jardin, on 29 May 1963 at Regensburg, Germany.2 He and Gertraude Monika Pfeiffer were divorced in 1985.3 He married, thirdly, Sabine Margarete Biller, daughter of Alfred Carl Biller, on 20 January 1986.3 He died in June 1996 at age 61, by committing suicide.
