     Jonathan Edward Humhrey Minchin was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.¹ He was commissioned in 1937, in the service of the Prince of Wales 3rd Dragoon Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943.¹ He was manufacturer of Minichinite Rat Bait.¹ He lived in 1976 at Currabinny, Crosshaven, County Cork, Ireland.¹
