Lt.-Col. Francis Hyslop was the son of Robert Hyslop.1 He married Katherine Nicola Blood, daughter of Bagot Blood and Catherine Florence Studdert, on 15 January 1910 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 27 December 1944.1

Rebecca Minchin was born in September 1847.2 She was the daughter of Edward Corker Minchin and Sarah Anne Hutchinson.1,2 She married Johnstone Thomas Stoney, son of James Johnstone Stoney and Elizabeth Lucia Minchin, on 5 December 1872.1 She died on 7 March 1875 at age 27.1

Edward Corker Minchin was born on 26 January 1821.2 He was the son of Reverend William Minchin and Mary Anne Wright.2 He married, secondly, Anne Diggins, daughter of unknown Diggins.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Anne Hutchinson, daughter of William Henry Hutchinson, on 25 March 1848.2 He died on 27 May 1899 at age 78.2
Edward Corker Minchin lived at Rockforest, County Tipperary, Ireland.2 He emigrated to New Zealand arriving on 1852 on one of the first ships to the colony.2 He lived at Woodburn, Canterbury, New Zealand.1
