     Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1579.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Throckmorton and Elizabeth Berkeley.1 He married, firstly, Cicely Baynham, daughter of Thomas Baynham and Mary Winter.1 He married, secondly, Alice Morgan.1 He married, thirdly, Sarah Hall.1 He died on 18 July 1628 at Newland, Gloucestershire, England.1,2 He was buried on 20 July 1628 at Newland, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
     He was appointed Knight.1 He was created 1st Baronet Throckmorton, of Tortworth, co. Gloucester [England] on 29 June 1611.1

     Sir Thomas Throckmorton was the son of Sir Thomas Throckmorton and Margaret Whittington.2,3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Berkeley, daughter of Sir Richard Berkeley.1 He died in 1607.1
     He lived at Tortworth, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1588.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1601.1
