Jane Blennerhassett was the daughter of Thomas Blennerhassett and Jane Darby.1 She married, firstly, Maurice O'Connell, son of Geoffrey 'of the Great Herds' O'Connell and Elizabeth Conway, on 9 August 1731.1 She married, secondly, John Hurly, son of Dennis Hurly and Anne Blennerhassett, in a childless marriage.1 She was also reported to have been married on 9 February 1731.2
From 9 August 1731, her married name became O'Connell.1 Her married name became Hurly.1
